Steve Austin is a licensed Journeyman Plumber for the state of Massachusetts with over 20 + years of experience.  He became interested in plumbing while he was still a young teenager.  He was taken under the wing of a very seasoned local plumber.  When Steve came of age to become licensed himself, he did just that. Not only did he get licensed as a plumber, he also added gas fitter to his resume.

Steve gained lots of experience in residential plumbing and had the opportunity to work with commercial plumbing while he worked with his plumbing mentor.  Over the years, Steve transitioned from working with his mentor to working with other companies in the New England area.  Steve acquired lots of hands on experience and knowledge of the job. With more experience, came more confidence and Steve began to venture out and do many side jobs on his own.  His customers are always satisfied with the work that he does.  Steve is very knowledgeable and ensures top quality work.  He explains every job so that the homeowner or contractor knows exactly what he is doing, how long it will take, and what it will cost.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, it made a lot of people re-think how they wanted to spend their time and take care of those they love.  This holds true for Steve as well.  Steve took a hard hit and was out of work for a while during the pandemic.  He was fortunate enough to continue with some side jobs to make ends meet and to support and raise his family.

In January of 2022, Steve decided that it was time to finally start his own business, something that he has wanted to do for many years.  Its not easy to run your own business but like many, Steve has continued to be passionate about his work, provide quality work, build a great customer base, and all at a fair price. 

 

So how did the company come to light?  That's a simple question with a simple answer.  Steve is a plumber so he named his company after himself.  The STP simply stands for "Steve the Plumber".
